Springbrook Gardens

The Red Deer Beekeepers Association and the Springbrook Community Garden Association have come together to bring beekeeping and bee education to our communities.  The community association has kindly given us a fenced off space to host a beehive or two for this year's beekeeping season.  This will be a great opportunity for us to come together and learn about traditional beekeeping practices and bring awareness to native bee habitat.  Opportunities will be made available for members of both groups to book on weekends throughout the season.  Sessions will likely be held on weekends.  If you are not currently a member of the RDBA, please head back to the home page for more information on how to sign up.  You can learn more about the gardens by visiting their Facebook page.  Looking forward to a great beekeeping season!
